Anyone changed phone supplier to EE?
Got my PAC no Monday and took out a contract with EE.

Sim turned up, made test call etc now it’s slow bit wrong.

I can’t dial out but I can text, if I text then it’s the no EE gave me. My wassap is still me and all my apps/emails etc still work.

Can’t ring the call Center or fuck all.

Any ideas or just a big SPLATT!!!

The phone internet is lightning fast.

Re: Anyone changed phone supplier to EE?
Maybe try installing Line or Whatsapp and use them to make calls?

However, given they say it'll be fixed tomorrow, probably not worth the hassle.

Re: Anyone changed phone supplier to EE?
It won’t dial out or receive, they put me on the wrong plan. It’s a data only sim, should be upgraded by tomorrow

Sorry. It happens in the car, the I drive is perfectly placed to be hit accidentally.

I’m now in Ilford (Essex) EE shop. Abdul and co are working on it.

Re: Anyone changed phone supplier to EE?
If you have taken your number with you there is a separate process done by BT to divert your number from the original supplier to your new supplier. As they are striking occasionally there may be a backlog.

Re: Anyone changed phone supplier to EE?
A bit to unPAC here Joe,

Are you on Wifi when your text/apps/internet all work?
If so do they work if you switch off wifi?

If not then check the Access Point Names:
https://community.ee.co.uk/t5/Mobile-Data/EE-APN-Settings-Where-to-find-them/td-p/1145404

If they are all correct or the problem is as described without WIFI turned on, then it's probably a problem EE's end and you'll have to face the call centre or online chat.

You've turned it on and off a couple of times, right? Try putting it into 'Airplane' mode for a minute.

Is that yet another part of the New Normal?

In the old days, a simple wipe of the screen with one’s knob would suffice.

Love EE. Been with them for over a decade of exceptional service.

Have you got an e-sim or a proper physical one?

Are you an iPhone user? If so, that was your first mistake.

I'm sticking with Yorkshire's* very own Plusnet.

EE by gum.

Re: Anyone changed phone supplier to EE?
Sorry, mate.

Is there not just a general help chat, where you don't have to enter your number?

I was generally please when I moved from 3 to them, but it has been over a year now since I left the UK and them.

IOC
Can’t even log on to support or the app as it doesn’t recognise my number.

Don’t want to use the EE one as changing it later could be an issue.
